Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: NC-DH-48
Station Name: Durham 4.5 N
Report Date: 6/30/2025
Submitted: 6/30/2025 11:56 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
The June monthly rainfall is a little over an inch greater than our normal monthly average at 5.09 inches. The low wet spot is damp. The Forsythia leaves are signalling that the ground water is good.

The grass and other vegetation appear to be well watered and healthily green. There are two new flowers on our Gardenia bush and the Glossy Abelia has a load of flowers being visited by bumblebees.

We placed a bird bath on the ground and it is being visited by 4 to over 6 Honeybees constantly each day. The high temperatures of over 90 degrees is causing them to visit sources of water. Other birds are also visiting other bird baths that are located higher off the ground and closer to shrubbery. The Bluebirds have not returned to our nesting box to start another brood.
