We were under the anvil of the parent storm to the southeast, and there was no associated rain with the hail (in fact, it was mostly sunny). Not many stones fell; my guess would be that there were only about 2-3 stones per square foot (gauging from the "splats" on the driveway--I did not have my hail pad out at the time, but did take some photos). |
