Was not prepared with a hail pad in January! Took a 6" scraping from the driveway where it was evenly dispersed and counted 241 hailstones. Hail was very uniform in size. Wind was very strong. West side of house was plastered with hail. Lee side of house had no hail 15' from wall walking east into the yard. Storm started suddenly at 7:10 and ended suddenly about 8 minutes later. Lots of cloud/cloud lightning. Temperature when storm started was 52. Temperature when storm was over was 41. |
