Notes: Question: Are the hailpads available at Loveland yet? I'm out. rustyspur@netzero.comThe hail covered the ground. It fell continuously, followed byrain.Total water accumulation during this storm was .37" in rain gauge.measurements of hail:3/8"x3/4"1"x3/4"1-1/8"x7/8"7/8"x7/8"7/8"x5/8"3/4"x3/4"5/8"x5/8"1-1/4"x1"1-1/8"x1"(we were looking for the biggest hailstone we could find :o).In slicing hailstones in half, we didn't find any layers--maybe they were too "soft"to produce layers. They were mostly clear ice on the outside with white ice inside. The hailpad looks great--like the moon's surface. We'll get that to you soon.Kathy
